Harley is about 1 year old, and is most likely a German Shepherd Dog with, perhaps, a splash of Border Collie. He is a simply lovely, easy dog, who sleeps in the house at night loose with no problems. Harley is a very intelligent young male who is housebroken and is in foster care with 3 female dogs and 2 cats, all of which he gets along with. His fosterers say he is the most alert and intelligent guest they have had out 27 foster dogs. He has no bad habits. Harley is soft natured, and would love a home with another friendly dog. Harley has been with children and seems very calm around them. He is easy to take on walks, is highly food motivated and makes great eye contact, which makes him easy to train. Harley is friendly toward strangers, is great on car rides, likes to play, knows basic commands, and has great house manners. He is a sensitive dog that would be best in a more quiet type of home that will engage his intelligence with games and training. He used to be concerned about loud noises but now he rarely is. Harley is a moderate energy, and fast dog when he is outside. Inside he is calm and likes to play easy tug of war and retrieve the squeaker, with his fosterers while they are lounging their chairs.
