Alice Faye has blossomed into a wonderful young dog.   She is younger than we first thought, and she has had a big growth spurt over the last 2 months.   Alice is now about 55 pounds and is a medium size girl.  She has GSD profile, but we think probably some Border Collie in her or maybe Sheltie/Standard Collie (?).   We believe she is about 12-14 months old and still has some puppy needs for training time.  Alice plays well with all dogs and has been living with a cat in her previous foster home.   She is fine with cats, but needs some supervision at first.  She is housebroken and crate trained.   One thing we know about Alice:   she is incredibly intelligent!   She enjoys working for some food, and she excels when she has exercise and a bit of training time each day.   She is generally quiet and playful.  Alice would need some play time each day and would be great on walks or as a playmate with another dog.   Alice will thrive in a home that appreciates a dog with her intelligence level.  Because she is young and needs training time, a family with children over 5 would be best.
