Age: 3 years
Jim comes to us as GSGSR's newest Passenger, along with his co-Passenger, Aurora. He came in from the Stockton Shelter with his friend July 28. While it's apparent that he has had no prior training, Jim is learning quickly. They both had zero boundaries with their previous owners, so he is enrolled in Doggy Bootcamp along with Aurora to give them proper household manners. He is learning foundation and structure to his day, which is all brand new to him. Jim is responding well to training, as they were taught everything wrong. He is a bit misunderstood, but that will change with his consistent training. During training they are learning to play with each other in an appropriate manner. Stay tuned for more updates on Jim and his co-passenger, Aurora, as we get to know them better.
Jim is learning what toys are and shyed away when a toy was first introduced to them. Unfortunately, it looks like Jim was beaten for anything and everything. Objects were probably thrown at him. He is now learning love and trust of humans to be given toys, bowls of food or any objects. He is learning human kindness and loves it. He will bury his head in your lap and ask for more and more.
