Adopted Added June 02, 2018
Rocky was brought to us at the Lodi Adoption Day to be evaluated. A family saw him chained up at their neighbor's home with nothing but weeds no water and some kibble scattered on the cement with very little shade to protect him from the heat of the day. The owner told the family to take him if they wanted him, the owner "didn't have time for him". So the family brought him to us and asked us for help in finding Rocky a new family. The family that rescued him will be fostering him until his forever home can be found.
They have been working with him and teaching him basic commands. He is learning wonderful new things, like what it means to be loved. He was neutered over a week ago, and recovered nicely. Rocky is anxiously waiting for his forever home that will exercise him, play ball with him and take him to training so he can excel.
