Robo was brought to San Francisco Animal Control as an owner surrender. The owner lost his home and wasn't allowed to keep Robo with him at his new place, so he had been living with Robo in the car, so they could be together. When he realized that Robo needed more, he surrendered him. Per the owner Robo, is housetrained and was living with a large female Pitbull. He has been around young children. The family also fostered cats around him, in which he did not seem to care, they actually picked on him. He likes to play with all types of dogs. He was handling the shelter well, and has done great with all of our handlers, even with this change in circumstance.
He walks nicely on a leash and loves riding in the car. He is a sweet dog, who, for 12 is very playful. He trotted around the yard happily, and loved playing with the ball as well.
Robo is in a foster home with dogs and cats so we will have updates soon. If you would like to welcome this senior boy who is still full of life please contact us.
Commands that Robo knows: SIT, STAY, LEAVE IT, WOOF, NO WOOF (STOP BARKING), LAY DOWN, SHAKE, OTHER HAND!
