Lewis would be the perfect dog for someone living in a condo, apartment, or townhouse.  He's petite, small in build and stature, low energy, and doesn't need a lot of exercise (a walk or two would do).
He was quiet last night.  I didn't even have to crate him.  I left the crate door open, and he went in when he wanted to.  He hasn't even challenged the x-pen I set up either.  He also appears to be somewhat housebroken.  He has peed and pooped outside when I have taken him out (he gets up and looks uncomfortable).  He hasn't marked on anything in "his area" even though I'm sure he can smell Oskar's scent.
If I walk away, he doesn't bark or whine.  He just lays down and chills.  When I went out to feed Galaxy, I tethered him to the tree, and he just laid down, waited and watched.
So far, he hasn't hunted for my cats and hasn't gone ballistic seeing Galaxy, my horse.
On our walks, he is fearful of vehicles passing by so that's what he needs to work on but all I do is stop and wait until the vehicle passes.  I let him see that those big bad cars will not hurt him.  Also, you can't move fast around him.  He kind of ducks but I did the bag trick on him.  A technique my horse friend taught me. I took a bag and slowly rubbed it over Lewis' body, letting him know and see it wasn't going to hurt him.  He did well but I would continue working on building his confidence.
And he's affectionate.  He loves to welcome you with a smile and a tail wag.
