Hank was found running the streets of Stockton in April and was taken to the shelter. Despite this terrifying experience, this six month old cutie remained playful and happy. For Hank, it was all about fun and being the life of the party. The shelter staff called him "the darling ball of fun". And the vet staff who met Hank for the first time described him as "a very sweet and happy puppy".
In his foster home, Hank is beginning to blossom into a wonderful dog, learning a lot of new skills (leash and house manners) AND learning to share space with four four-legged siblings (a nine year old GSD, a 12 year old Terrier mix, and two kitties). And Hank surprised his foster mom by having no accidents in the house and is comfortable in a crate.
In addition to two 2.5 mile walks a day, Hank has started playing fetch with a ball and "even returns it", two activities his foster mom loves to do.
The perfect companion for Hank would be someone active and willing to continue training with him.
