****RESCUED FROM A HOMELESS CAMP IN STOCKTON***
Luci is a fluffy little queen with a heart as soft as her long, gorgeous coat. This sweet 2-year-old German Shepherd loves the simple things in life — short walks, long naps, and cozying up on the couch. She’s calm, affectionate, great with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Luci is all about peace and quiet, and would thrive in a loving, cat-free home where she can truly relax.
Like her sister Mazi, Luci was abandoned in Stockton and found comfort with a local homeless encampment that looked out for her until she made her way to my rescue. She was severely underweight and seemed to be struggling with mobility in her back legs — we rushed her to the vet, thinking it might be hip dysplasia. But what no one saw coming? Five days later, Luci gave birth to two healthy puppies. That’s how thin she was — even the vet couldn’t detect the pregnancy.
Despite it all, Luci was a gentle and doting mama. Her pups were raised healthy and loved, and now it’s finally Luci’s turn to be someone’s baby. She is currently not spayed, but will be before placement into a new home. Fully vetted otherwise, Luci is ready for a peaceful new chapter filled with love, naps, and zero cats.

Mazi is the loyal shadow you didn’t know you needed. This stunning 2-year-old German Shepherd has a soft heart, a sharp mind, and serious ride-or-die energy. She was abandoned at the Stockton Amtrak station and found comfort with a nearby homeless encampment, where she quickly became the sweetheart of the group — sweet, cuddly, and full of love despite her circumstances. With their help, she made her way to my rescue. After no owners came forward, we focused on getting her healthy — she was extremely underweight, but with time, food, and care, she bounced back beautifully.
Now, she’s spayed, fully vetted, and ready for a new chapter. Mazi is playful, loves fetch, and is just as happy lounging on the couch as she is running free on an adventure. She’s gentle with kids and does well with other dogs, though she can push boundaries and would thrive with a confident handler or a balanced dog. Her off-leash recall is chef’s kiss, and her bond with her people is deep and loyal.
Just no cats, please — her prey drive is strong. Mazi is looking for a cat-free forever home where she can finally relax and be someone’s whole world.
They have shown zero aggression toward people or other dogs — only cats are a trigger. I love them and have a strong bond with them, which is why I’ve waited this long to ask for help.
